Taking cognizance of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, the assistant prosecution officer examination (APO) 2016 was notified for the recruitment of 26 assistant prosecution officers and will be summarized in subsequent paragraphs.

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission will issue electronic admission certificates at least two weeks before the main written examination for the posts of assistant prosecution recruitment exam 2016, which will be held in July 2017. UKPSC APO Mains Admit Card 2017

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission notified that the Assistant Prosecution Officer (Chief) Examination, with 04 parts in 2016, exams 03, 03 hours allocated for each paper.

Test Type of the Test Maximum Marks Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks
Online Preliminary Screening Test (OPST) Objective  Test comprising 200 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions 200 Community-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks stipulated by UkPSC
Main Written Test consisting of 04 SectionsPaper – I: General Studies,

Paper-II General Hindi

Paper-III: Law-I (Criminal Law and Procedure with Police Act)

Paper IV:  Law-II (Evidence Act)

Conventional Test comprising 400(100 x 04) 35% Marks in General Hindi.  The Commission shall determine Minimum Qualifying Marks to be obtained in each Test and in Aggregate.
Personal Interview / Viva-voce 50 Minimum Qualifying Marks to be obtained in Personal Interview.  However, the Candidates having scored Maximum Marks in Viva-voce will be considered for Selection.Uttarakhand Public Service Commission shall declare both Result and Final Select List prepared in order of Merit taking into consideration Sufficient High Marks / Maximum Marks shall considered as Eligible for Recommendation for Recruitment subject to successful Verification of the Provisionally Selected Candidates’ respective antecedents.
