Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Powergrid) employment opportunities is a non-written examination which passes for candidates based on the performance and rank-wise minimum qualification marks, as mentioned in the latter part. Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Other Backward Classes (NCL) / 30% marks for the handicapped people (LD-OL / HH) (on the basis of reservation of vacancies only). In the Executive / Gazetted Officer cadre, 06 (six years) post-merit experience should be in which the pay scale (prescribed in the advertisement) will be at least 02 (two) years or equivalent level.

There should be a Post-Qualifying Executive Experience of 01 (one) year at least in the following pay scale (defined in the advertisement) or equivalent level of Executive / Gazetted Officer Cadre.

PGCIL Manager Engineer Selection / Interview

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Powergrid) the process for selection will include screening of applications and personal interviews of candidates shortlisted. Candidates’ online application forms will be examined on the basis of job specificity given in the notification and the professional experience presented by the candidates. Candidates qualifying for personal interview will be considered suitable only for appennial. In the order of category-wise merit to suitable candidates, the offer of appointment will be issued and on the basis of requirement. Medical fate is being found in the pre-employment medical examination under the appointment of selected candidates. Shortlisted candidates will have to qualify in the interview to be considered suitable for empanelment for appointment.
