Criteria for selection
Divisional level merit based on qualifying test will be prepared by candidates who are qualified and declared for posts related to the post / division / unit.
Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MCIT) Chief Postmaster General’s office will prepare a general merit list for all related positions in respect of all posts of respective Kerala Postal Chambers / Postal Department / Units.
Process for selection

On the basis of individual performance and score of candidates received in the Aptitude Test, the office of the Chief Postmaster General of Kerala Postal Circle will prepare a category-wise merit for each recruitment division and selection, which will be fully on merit basis.
Provided that scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes and pH candidates, who have been selected on their respective properties without the pure standards, along with the candidates of other specific communities, will not be adjusted against the reserved shares of the vacancies.
Such Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and PH candidates will be adjusted according to their personal status in the merit list compared to the normal / un-reserved vacancies. The reserved vacancies will be filled up separately from the scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes and physically handicapped candidates who will thus include scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes and pH candidates, who are the previous general In comparison, there are fewer in merit. TIE methodology for selection
It further states that:
