Gujarat SET 2017 Notification: Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET) notification is likely to be notified by “Maharaja Sayajirao University Baroda (MSUB Baroda)” for lecturer / assistant professor. With detailed criteria along with the SET notification of Gujarat, the below mentioned candidates have been advised to register online for GSET 2017 in July-August 2017 for interested candidates for the State Candidate Examination (Gujarat SET 2017).
Gujarat GSET Test Exam Date Form 2017
Gujarat State Eligibility Test 2017: Following the guidelines set by the UGC-Net Bureau, Gujarat SET will organize State Eligibility Examination in 2017 to organize a firm, merit-based selection for the entry level of teaching qualification, in 2017. GSET 2017 will be organized systematically in August-September 2017 and in advance online application form will be invited to the weblink notified here.

Application for SET 2017 is likely to be invited from eligible candidates in the July-August 2017 (Temporary) on Gujarat SET WebLinks.
Candidates should read ‘Eligibility Criteria’ carefully and they should satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the test before filling the online application form. The application will be available online only on the website portal.
It is compulsory to submit an online application. Applications submitted in any other format will not be accepted.
- 825/- [ 800 + 25 (Bank Fee) ] -General / Other Backward Classes (OBC Non-creamy layer) Candidates.
- 725/- [ 700 + 25 (Bank Fee) ] – SC/ST/PH/VH Candidates.
Gujarat State Eligibility Test Criteria: 2017
Candidates who have mastered Master of Degree or Universities / Universities / Universities affiliated with languages (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science and Application, Minimum of 55% marks (Normal) (Master of Degree) Examination is obtained. Non-creamy layers / other than those belonging to the Scheduled Castes (Scheduled Tribes) / Scheduled Tribe (Scheduled Tribes) / Physically Handicapped (PH) / Visually Handicapped (VH) category candidates, with at least 50% marks (without goals) Backward class (OBC) closed) Master’s degree or equivalent exams are eligible for this test.
Candidates who have applied or will be present in the qualifying Master Degree examination in the last year and whose results are still waiting or candidates who have delayed their eligibility examination can also apply for the test.
Gujarat GSET Admission Letter: 2017
The Gujarat State Eligibility Examination 2017 will be presented alternatively to be informed about 10 days prior to the entrance test for the entrance examination. Gujarat State Eligibility Test 2017 Hall tickets will be downloaded by applicants through registration ID, password etc.
Gujarat State Eligibility Test 2017 Examination Plan / Course
There will be three papers in the test. All three letters will include only objective type questions and will be organized in two different sessions as follows:

Paper-I will be of general nature to assess candidate’s teaching / research qualification. This will be mainly prepared for the rational capacity, understanding, different thinking and general awareness of the candidate. Sixty (60) multi-option questions of each issue will be given, of which the candidate will need to answer any 50. In the event of a candidate seeking more than 50 questions, the first 50 questions will be made by the candidate.
Paper-II will include 50 objective types compulsory questions depending on the subject chosen by the candidate. Each question will have 2 digits
Paper-III will include compulsory questions of 75 objective types from the candidate selected by the candidate. Each question will have 2 digits
All questions of Paper -II and Paper-III will be compulsory, covering the entire course (including all electives, without options).
Gujarat State Eligibility Test last year cut off 2017
This will include the following steps
Step 1: To get the minimum marks in Gujarat SET (GSET) to consider the candidate for eligibility for lecturership:
Candidates are required to get the lowest minimum marks in Paper-Eye, Paper-II and Paper-III as given below.

Step 2: Out of the candidates who have cleared Phase I, a merit list will be prepared based on the subject matter of all three papers, subject-based and category-wise based on such candidates.
Step 3: The top 15% candidates (for each subject and category) from the merit list mentioned in step 1 will be declared qualified Gujarat SET (GSET) for eligibility for the lecturer.
